You are here: Home > Necessities for 3-6 Month Olds
At three-six months, your baby has many of the same needs, but there are some additional products that are helpful & will make your life easier. 3 months-6 months:

1. diapers, diapers, more diapers. Want to avoid those midnight trips to 7-Eleven? Ask Grandma to show up with a 12 pack whenever she comes over.

2. bibs—baby will start drooling all over the place, and it’s best to have a stack of bibs at the ready.

3. extra sheets—baby is probably sleeping in his crib now (some of the time, when you have the energy to take him out of his car seat) and you’ll need at least three sheets, unless you’re proficient at doing the laundry twice daily (we’re not.)

4. pacifiers

5. teething rings that can be refrigerated

6. one of those brightly-colored activity mats that look like a gay circus—will it match your décor? No, but it will entertain.

7. a baby sling, or carrier of some sort

8. an activity wheel—it looks like one of those contraptions that sent us careening down the stairs in the 70’s and 80’s, but they’re stationery. And lots of fun.

9. a crib rail cover—because baby is now teething & wants to stick EVERYTHING in his mouth, your brand-new gorgeous mahogany-stained crib needs some protection.

10. a stroller with a place to stash your coffee, purse, diapers, and groceries. Get a stroller with adjustable handles so that your husband won’t complain that the stroller hurts his back because of the leaning.
